Annual Report for year one EL 4793 Springhill Mine 1987 - 1988

Abstract

Exploration for the first year of this licence consisted of the

commissioning of a Multispectral Remote Sensing Survey, by Geoflite Research Pty Ltd, the preparation of base maps for the project area and the acquisition of aerial photography. The Geoflite Survey was the major portion of the exploration program for this year. This survey identified 30 areas of potential

mineralisation and indicated that the area had the potential for a 'large low grade gold orebody with some very high grade pockets on the East Lode Ridge'. The Geoflite report further stated that a similar ore body may well exist in the adjacent the West Lode Area. A field examination of these targets is now required.
