Abstract: A total of 97 stream sediment samples were collected from drainages covering almost the entire licence area. These samples were analysed for Au (using cyanide leach or fire assay methods), As, Cu, Pb, and Zn. Four rock chip samples were collected and sufficient geological mapping was completed to generally verify the BMR regional mapping. A broad zone in the north of the licence area contains significantly anomalous stream sediments and deserves detailed follow-up. A low amplitude anomaly in the west of the area should be checked. Conclusions; (1) Anomalous stream sediment concentrations of Au, As, Cu, Pb and Zn occur over an area of about 10 square kiiometres in the north of the licence area. Although some of this material may be sourced outside the licence area, some is definitely derived locally. (ii) It is likely the anomalous stream sediments are shed from quartz stockworks and/or continuous, thin, gossanous veins hosted by interbedded greywacke and mudstone. This mineralisation is probably a continuation of the Mt Todd field recently mined to the north at Quigley's, Jones Brothers and Tollis Reefs. (iii) A low amplitude gold stream sediment anomaly in the west of the licence area could be sourced by similar mineralisatlon.
