| Abstract: | Work on EL's 5114 and 5122 during the first year of tenure included; (a) General literature and open file records research. (b) A visual assessment of the airborne magnetics flown by Austirex International Ltd on behalf of Geopeko which is now muiti-client data. (c) Regional geological mapping and limited soil and hard rock sampling for geochemical background orientation. (d) Splitting, assaying and thin and polished sections of core from BMR diamond drill holes numbered 8 and 9 in the Butchers Waterhole area. (e) Minor magnetic traverses to locate on the ground magnetic anomalies detected by BMR and Uranerz airborne surveys. |
