| Abstract: | Exploration License 2105 was granted to AAR Limited on the 15th August 1979 for a period of twelve months. A twelve month renewal was granted on the 15th August, 1980. A 50% relinquishment was made on the 15th August, 1981. A detailed mapping programme including the prospective Lower Proterozoic Wildman Siltstone and Koolpin Formation commenced on the 1st June 1981. Gridding on 200 x 200 metre centres was established to facilitate the geological mapping which was at a scale of 1:2500. A rock chip sampling programme was also undertaken. As well, a radlometric survey was conducted over all east-west grid lines. |
