| Abstract: | The report sets out exploration results for the year ended Sept 20, 1974, but also includes some previously reported work from the quarter ended 20 Dec 1973. Diamond drilling was carried out to obtain stratigraphic information underneath soil covered areas north of HYC deposit. Diamond drilling was also carried out to outline the extent of mineralisation at W-fold and Wickens Hill Synclines. Laboratory batch flotation tests were carried out on composite core samples from Wickens Hill 2DD and W-Fold 4DD. Generally poor flotation results (Zn recovery 40-60%) were achieved from Wickens Hill, while the W-fold samples gave 47% Zn concentrate at 78% recovery. |
