Abstract: | Initial follow up of airborne radiometric anomalies located the Yambla Uraninite vein mineralisation in 1993. This prospect was evaluated by 22 trenches and 13 core holes. The mineralisation occurs within uraninite enriched modules distributed at random within shear zones extending for approximately 1km. The age of the uraninite mineralisation was dated at 360 Ma. A number of other radiometric anomalies were located but not evaluated in detail. The above report briefly describes the work conducted. For additional details the reader should refer to the annual reports. Other statigraphic units mentioned inlcude the Yambla Amphibolite, Mount Murial Member and Entia Granite. |
