Abstract: These mineral claims were pegged in 1989 and lie to the east and west of Howley anticline within 5 km of the Old Bridge Mine. The area was formerly explored as EL 4737. Metana Minerals previously evaluated the area for its alluvial gold potential. Work on these claims consisted of boundary maintenance, re-evaluation of the alluvial potential and previous geochemistry. The claims were surrendered because, although the area does have some alluvial potential, retention cannot be justified with the current price of gold.
