Abstract: In this report drilling and assaying results of two gold prospects have been described. The Last Hope prospect is confined to a flat-lying ridge underlain by a thick sequence of greywackes and minor siltstone. Eastern limb of a south plunging anticlinal structure contains the gold minieralisation. The auriferous quartz veins has orientation 040 and 120 degree and quartz stock around veins has a grade of 1.65 g-t. The Tableland prospect has similar geological setting as the Last Hope prospect , and has an average garde of 1.25 g-t. However, recent drilling and assaying results are disappointing and no significant mineralistion for a economically viable resource could be found.
