Annual Report on EL 4734 Burrundie year ending 27-06-1988

Abstract

Exploration Licence 4734 was granted to CSR Limited on June 28 1985. It initially covered 16 blocks but, following a reduction

on its second anniversary date, covered 8 blocks during the year ended June 28, 1988. CSR were searching for gold in intrusive

dolerites. Cyprus agreed to farm into the EL and adjoining EL 4817 late in 1987 and were to be responsible for 1988 exploration. No field work was carried out prior to June 28, 1988 and the only work was preparation of an annual report (by CSR), compilation and re-arrangement of CSR data, (Ref attached plans), acquisition

of air photos, initial Thematic Mapping (T.M.) work (using Landsat Imagery). The T.M work was carried out by H. Davies of Remote

Sensing and Geological Services. He is attempting to delineate highly gossanous areas for subsequent rock chip sampling

Expenditure for the year was $4,347.35, comprising $2444 spent by CSR and $1903.45 spent by Cyprus. Exploration planned for year 4 of the licence comprises completion of Thematic Mapping and initial rock chip and soil sampling follow up with gridding, detailed geochemistry, costeaning and reverse circulation drilling as warranted.
