Abstract: | Exploration carried out during the first year of tenure included a geological reconnaissance followed by an alluvials testing programme. The latter included the excavation of 11 trenches by backhoe and bulk samples totalling 4.4 tonnes were shipped to Perth for process testing by Stafford Technology. The results indicate that much of the fine gold present in the alluvials adjacent to the old Kurinelli minesite is recoverable using Staffords dry classification process. These encouraging results will be followed up in the second year of tenure with more extensive testing which will be expanded into the neighbouring E48l5 which is also held by Mineral Horizons NL. |
