Abstract: Forty-one bulk cyanide leach stream sediment samples have been collected throughout the EL. Sample density is approximately one per 1 square kilometre, although fewer samples were taken in the western portion of the licence. The samples form part of a large data set from a survey encomparing several adjacent ELs. A threshold of 3 ppb was used to highlight the major anomalies. Anomalies were also ranked according to the size of the catchment area sampled. Four anomalous drainage areas have been highlighted. Samples 80469 (5.7 ppb), 80403 (44.7 ppb) and 80416 (3.7 ppb) were taken from relatively small catchment areas. Source mineralisation in any of these cases is unlikely to he more than 1 km from the sample site. The fourth anomaly relates to four samples, all of which were taken in the north western portion of the EL. The anomaly occurs in a tributary of Stow Creek, and is represented by samples 80478 (5.6 pph), 80476 (16.0 ppb), 80477 (3.0 ppb) and 80474 (3.55 ppb). The source could be located within an area of several square kilometres.
