| Abstract: | EL 4226 is located in the Rowley area of the Pine Creek Geosyncline. Work carried out for the year ending 26 May 1986 consisted of a re-appraisal of existing information followed by a detailed gold prospecting survey and hydro-geological investigations. Exploration has now reached the stage of large scale bulk sampling, and if permission is granted by the Northern Territory Department of Mines, work in the year ending 26 May 1987 will involve the excavation of 50,000m3 of gravel samples for testing at a cost of some $258,000. |
