| Abstract: | EL 1753 at Bynoe Harbour was explored for base metals, uranium and gold. The geology is high grade metamorphic rocks of the Litchfield Province. Exploration was following up airborne magnetic and radiometric anomalies in open file data. 129.5 km of ground magnetics and 144.4 km of ground radiometrics augmented geological mapping. RAB drilling amounted to 5,353 m which was accompanied by downhole radiometrics. Over 760 m of diamond drilling was undertaken. Ni-Cu and separate Pd anomalism was reported but no assays are given. Uranium reportedly assayed up to 85 ppm in MHD 01. MHD 02 intersected minor Ni-Cu mineralisation with possible enrichment in platinoid elements. |
