Title: SML's 66 and 67 (Redbank), Report on Geological, Geophysical and Diamond Drilling Activities, May to December 1982

Abstract: Core relogging and detailed geophysical review programmes of previous Redbank exploration work were undertaken. A model of syn-diagenetic mineralisation of proximal volcanogenic character within penecontemporaneous, tectonically localised depressions was tested by three diamond drill holes. Chargeability anomalies selected as drilling targets correspond to unmineralised trachyandesite units and results do not support the geophysical interpretation of a steep north-dipping chargeable structure in the vicinity of a major E-W lineament. 1982 drilling results downgrade the potential for extensive (large tonnage) primary sulphide targets of either stratabound or lineament controlled types.
