Annual report EL 1668 Tennant Creek 28/10/1977 to 27/10/1978

Abstract

Exploration License No. 1668 was initially approved on 28 October 1977, over an area of 1098.71 km2. Information contained in this report covers the first year of tenure. A renewal application for the second year of tenure was received by the Department of Mines and Energy on 2 October 1978. Geological mapping on a regional basis, together with a footborne scintillometric survey, a magnetometric survey, and a minor geochemistry programme were exploration methods employed during the first year of tenure. This license is explored in conjunction with EL's 1284, 1669 and 1745.Results to date have not been spectacular, but UAL desires to continue work on this tenement.
