Annual Exploration Report Exploration Licence EL 143 Claypan Tennant Creek, Northern Territory for the year ending 30 March 1974

Abstract

Exploration Licence 143 covers an area of 1057 square kilometres. The centre of the area is located 32 km south west of Tennant Creek in an area known as the Claypan. This report should be read in conjunction with the Annual Exploration Report for the year ended 30th March, 1973. Exploration work during the period consisted of; 1) extension gridding, magnetic interpretation, diamond drilling and evaluation of the results at one prospect, and 2) the completion (under contract) of a low level airborne geophysical survey over part of the licence area. The completion of this contract was delayed by the onset of the extended, record 1973/74 wet season.
