| Abstract: | Activities during 1973 concentrated on an area around Wickens Hill and W-Fold and is referred to as the W-fold Project. Regional geochem sampling, started during previous years, continued along the Emu Fault north of Emu Plains. At W-fold Project, activities aimed to determine the extent, grade and nature of Pb-Zn mineralisation found in previous diamond drilling. Work to date has included mapping, surface sampling, re-plotting and interp of VLF-EM survey, and drilling of 11 diamond holes. Further drilling is recommended to see if a mineralised horizon intersected in WH5 & WH6 extends further west, and if a separate high-grade interval is related to a fault in the W-fold area. |
