Abstract: The enclosed prospectus shows that the subscription lists open on 12th January, 1971. Although formal lists will open on that date, having regard to delays which will arise from the Christmas mails and the holiday season, the directors of Western Nuclear Australia Limited have decided that they will not commence to process any applications until 21st January, 1971.This date should therefore be considered as the date by which application forms and money should be lodged. From 1966 to the present year, the principal operating base for Western Nuclear Australia Limited has been in Darwin, Northern Territory, where the Company maintains offices and a geochemical and assay, laboratory. These are housed in the company's own property held under registered Crown leaseholds and the company, in addition, has in Darwin four staff houses under similar leasehold title. Field offices in Tennant Creek, Cloncurry and Townsville serve operations in those areas. The field office in Tennant Creek serves as well for staff housing. Proper co-ordination of an expanding programme has prompted the recent establishment of an administration office in Sydney. Operational activities will be headed by Dr. E. F. Evoy who, in addition to holding a doctorate in economic geology and having wide experience beforehand in practical mining and exploration, controlled and directed from Darwin the Company's Australian operations through the period 1966 to 1968 when he was posted to the parent Corporation's headquarters in Denver. He will be supported by Mr. T. F. Schorn as Manager. Mr. Schorn, a mining engineer, joined the Australian Company in 1966 and has occupied his present position since 1968. Mr. Gordon Bragg who has 25 years' experience, mostly gained in the precambrian mining areas of Canada, will be Chief Geologist.
