Abstract: | This report details exploration activities including regolith studies, rock chip sampling and posthole RAB drilling. Regolith studies were undertaken to improve understanding of the regolith and element distribution within the profile. Drilling has shown that the majority of the southern portion of the tenement is covered (30m) by a paleochannel and has indicated that what was interpreted from aeromagnetics as Nogra Beds, appears to be a granite. Low gold anomalism was obtained within the mafic intrusives. Assays from ultramafic intrusion were anomalous for Ni, Cr and Co ( Black Bug Anomaly). Encouraging gold and base metal values have been identified in the southeastern portion of the tenement. |
