| Abstract: | Drilling to date within West Gibbet Prospect has defined an east elongate lens of massive quartz-magnetite that dips shallowly to the north parallel to bedding, and has a well developed stringer zone that intersects the leading edge of the lode along the full strike length. The stringer zones crosscuts bedding parallel to cleavage, and extends at least 75 m below the lode. In the main area, mineralisation occurred at close junction of the stringer zone with magnetite lode. Mineralisation shows a patchy distribution with exception of a single intersection in DH1, gold contents are less than 3.5 g/t. The West Gibbet prospect still contains an untested area of high potential that should be followed up. |
