| Abstract: | Alluvial prospecting was completed by S.J. Henson, the original licence holder. Work completed by Northern Gold includes acquisition of satellite imagery, digital terrain modelling for geological interpretation. In addition, regional soil sampling was completed which recognised a low order gold/arsenic anomaly and this was followed up by additional soil sampling. Nine rock chip samples were collected in the northern-central part of the licence in the vicinity of the soil sample anomaly. Anomalous but uneconomic results were obtained, ie 0.23 g/t Au; 1286 ppm As. |
