Title: Relinquishment report EL9009 Newry
Title Holder / Company: Exploration Technology Services
Report id: CR1999-0121
Tenure: EL9009
Year: 1998
Abstract: Photogeoloical and purchased aeromagnetic data interpretation concluded that possible paleo channels that could be host to alluvial diamonds, are due to iron staining. Other gravel zones below the Cambrian were found to be part of the Moonlight Valley glacigenic section. The variation in magnetic intensity can be explained by the variable thickness of the Antrim Plateau Volcanics.
