Abstract: | Existing aeromagnetic data was acquired and evaluated. Subsequent aeromagnetic targets were evaluated by surface lag sampling at 800m x 100 m grid, the remainder of the tenement was covered by broader sampling. Results were generally below detection for gold. Only isolated low spot gold anomalism obtained. Structural targets were also drilled by RAB drilling, however no gold anomalism was obtained, although some arsenic anomalies are indicated. Detailed structural mapping was conducted with the aid of enhanced satellite, aeromagnetic and digital terrain modelling enhancement. it was concluded that the tenement lies in the upper part of the structural sequence and is therefore unlikely to host significant near surface gold mineralisation. A MMI soil sampling survey was completed and again results were low with a peak result of 0.7ppb Au. Non AMF term: Digital Terrain Modelling |
