Abstract: | At Sandy Creek previously located anomalous tin values were followed up, sampling was conducted with low results obtained, previous anomalous result is attributed to local heay mineral concentration. Follow up work at the North Sandy Creek anomalies downgraded the area with most of the streams sampling being +/- 490ppm Sn and soil sampling in the order of 40 ppm. Within the Yeuralba North area additional soil sampling did not outline significant alluvial tin concentrations. Escarpment base sampling within EL 2636 returned low values. A tungsten-bearing aplite body was evaluated but it was concluded that the potential for a significant resource was small. |
