Abstract: | The tenement has outcropping Kombolgie Formation which overlies the Cahill Formation. The Bulman Fault trending NW-SE is within the tenement. One diamond drill hole was drilled through the Kombolgie Sandstone into the underlying arkosic unit of the Cahill Formation. Near the unconformity between the Kombolgie and Cahill Formation, chlorite, sericite alteration with pyrite and dolomite, some brecciation and quartz veins are common. Some graphitic material was obscured within the basement lithologies. No radioactivity was noted, although the potential lower part of the Cahill Formation was intersected. Portable infrared mineral analysis was undertaken. Spectrometric downhole logging undertaken. |
