| Abstract: | 48 reconnaissance stream sediments were collected and analysed for diamond/kimberlitic indicator minerals. Numerous chromite grains were recovered, all of basaltic origin and attributed to the Edith River Volcanics. Two samples within the retained area contained anomalous chrome spinels and an additional 7 samples were collected in the relinquished portion. None of these samples were anomalous. |
