Title: Final Report EL 2508 Areas not retained under Tenure 29 June 1988 to 28 June 1998
Title Holder / Company: Afmeco Mining and Exploration
Report id: CR1998-0631
Tenure: EL2508
Year: 1998
Abstract: The first two years of exploration conducted are on open file, and included airborne surveys that indicated the presence of a number of uranium/radiometric anomalies. Virtually all anomalies were geologically ground checked and most investigated by a RAB drilling programme. In addition the rugged terrain formed by the Kombolgie Sandstone was traversed and geological observations made and samples for analysis collected. Uranium anomalism was obtained by RAB and RC/diamond drilling at U42, U40, N84, N23 and S27. Whilst copper anomalism was obtained at N7/U51.
