Abstract: | The tenement was covered by regional reconnaissance sampling, resulting in numerous chromites being recovered and deemed to be of the Antrim Plateau Volcanics origin. Three samples obtained garnets possibly derived from a kimberlitic source. 19 follow up samples were collected of which only one contained two garnets. This considered that the garnets were released from the Montejinni Limestone. Part of the tenement was covered by an aeromagnetic survey with no significant magnetic features of interest noted. Some samples were also analysed for a suite of base metals and gold with no results of significance obtained. |
