Abstract: | An aeromagnetic survey was flown and this data in conjunction with aerial photographs were used to provide an interpretive geological map. The tenements were in part covered by two separate soil sampling programs. The program conducted within MCN's 743 and 744 did not obtain any anomalous gold values, whilst the program conducted within MCN3277, 3278 and 3279 defined a broad based gold anomaly extending for 400m and over a width of 160m. The highest assay result obtained was 373ppb Au. 9 rock chip samples were taken within MCN3278 with 3 samples returning anomalous results ie. 7.29g-t Au, 3.8g-t Au and 3.22g-t Au. Ten open hole shallow percussion holes were drilled within MCN3278 with some holes intersecting narrow intercepts of mineralisation ie. 1m @ 1.01g-t Au, 2m @ 2.27g-t Au, 1m @ 1.9g-t Au and 1m @ 6.32g-t Au. |
