Abstract: | Kelly's Lode is a persistent gossanous and cherty zone over 5-6km in length, with numerous shallow prospecting pits from which copper oxide has been removed. The mineralised zone appears to be about 2m wide with possible extension. Drilling beneath the gossan outcrops intersected massive and disseminated sulphide mineralisation consisting dominantly of pyrite and arsenopyrite. The best intercept occurred in MRRC16 with 2.69% Cu, 0.6% Pb, 0.7% Zn, 0.9% As and 6.9 oz-t Ag over 5m (1.5m true thickness). |
