Title: | Final report on EL 5278 Mt Tymn |
Title Holder / Company: | Coronation Hill Gold Mines |
Report id: | CR1990-0424 |
Tenure: | EL5278 |
Year: | 1990 |
Abstract: | 1988 geochemistry outlined an anomalous gold-As with a strike length of 1600m associated with Burrell Creek Formation Sediments in a north plunging anticline. Systematic work during 1989 outlined two areas of anomalous geochemistry. The mineralisation consists of conformable and disconformable quartz lodes, sheeted stringer zones and stockworks associated with extensive pyritic impregnations in greywacke near the axis of a north plunging anticline. Possible tonnages range between 500 000 and 100 000 tonnes for open pit bulk mining are probably <1.09lt gold. |
