First and final report ELs 6232 and 6233, Mt Georgia area, NT 11-10-1989 to 04-01-1990

Abstract

Exploration Licences 6232 and 6233 were granted on 11 October 1 988. The target of the exploration programme was gold mineralisation in quartz veins within or on the contacts of the intrusive Zamu Dolerite or associated with the intrusion of the granite pluton. Work completed during the period of tenure involved a review of previous production and exploration undertaken within the area. An aerial photograph interpretation has been undertaken to determine areas of potential mineralisation. Joint Venture participation for these areas was sought but was not forthcoming. The Exploration Licences were surrendered on 4 January 1990. No results are enclosed in report.
