Abstract: | 116 reconnaissance -6mm soil samples were collected. Au-As analysis highlighted an 800x100 coincident Au and As in soil anomaly (max value 38ppb Au and 50ppm As). In addition 124 RAB holes (totalling 1062m) were drilled in the North West block. This returned a number of anomalous values (max 410 ppb Au). Infill RAB drilling was completed over the area being mined for alluvials. This program consisted of 267 RAB holes totalling 1290m. A peak value of 310 ppb Au was obtained. 10 RC holes totalling 497m were completed in the area of the regional RAB anomaly outlined in 1994. The results of this program were disappointing with a maximum value of 0.66ppb Au being obtained. |
