Abstract: | 161 lag samples were collected from the north of the licence. Analysis revealed a coincident Zn (maximum 1080ppm), Cu (maximum 165ppm) anomaly in the NE with low level Zn (134ppm) in the south and Pb (100ppm maximum) in the east. 122 -40# stream sediment samples were collected. Low levels of anomalism were obtained in the unit stratigraphically above the Acacia Gap Quartzite in the south of the licence where it is synclinally folded. 6 BLEG samples were collected. 4 returned low level anomalous values (maximum 205ppm Au). 19 rock chip samples were collected. The Ella Creek Member of the Koolpin Formation was found to be elevated in zinc (1080 ppm maximum). A -40# soil sample programme consisting of 254 samples was completed as follow up of the stream sediment anomalies. Results were generally disappointing. A maximum of 0.02ppm Au was obtained. |
