Title: | Annual Report EL 5050 Emerald Springs East |
Title Holder / Company: | Calvert River Manganese |
Report id: | CR1989-0775 |
Tenure: | EL5050 |
Year: | 1989 |
Abstract: | Ridgetop I and II are two sections of the same mineralised zone offset by an east-west trending fault. This area is the most prospective to date within the EL The features that contribute to this are vein-type mineralisation on an anticlinal axis with an indicated strike length of 1.5km and grades to 3.6ppm gold. Dingo Soak is more restricted arealy with mineralisation occurring in narrow zones of questionable continuity. Sampling to the south of this zone has failed to locate any extension while sampling to the north of the zone terminate against the east-west fault. Mineralisation of the fault seems to concentrate around the intersection of mineralised quartz veining. Dingo Soak has little prospect of holding a deposit of any size. |
