Abstract: | The former gold workings lie on a limb position between two major regional folds, however, at different stratigraphy horizons. The drill programme was design mineralisation around Bigmouth and Pang Quees. The assay results were generally disappointing. Form the results of previous work combined with the results of the drill programme indicate that at Pang Quees there exist. Small high grade pockets of ore which could sustain a small operation mine. To south and east of Bigmouth small erratic high grades have been located-the conclusion being that there is no bulk tonnage resource. |
