Abstract: A reinterpretation of the Uranerz database for the Kylie area outlined a zone of Cu, Co plus or minus Ni mineralisation over a strike of 2-3km. Anomalous Sr, Y, Ni was also outlined suggesting an ultramafic source. This anomalism was followed up by 8 costeans (1100m) and 24 RC holes (943m). This work outlined stratabound copper mineralisation but at uneconomic concentrations. At Sargents North SARDS was drilled to a total depth of 173.4m. It intersected fresh actinolite-tremolite mafic volcanics with abundant igneous magnetite. SARD6 intersected strongly bleached, brecciated sediments to 75m, hence altered dolomite.
