Abstract: | 5 sites were infill sampled (100 loam and 2 stream sediment samples). Anomalous chromite was returned in a number of the samples, however results were only considered significant from one area, which appear to be related to a hill to the east of the sampling grid. This hill is an aboriginal site of significance and no follow up is planned. In addition to this sampling, 2 diamond drill holes (182.2m) were completed. These drill holes intersected kimberlite dyke. In all 5 kimberlites have been outlined within the licence area, with work to date suggesting the presence of a number of small kimberlitic dykes which are as yet undiscovered. |
