Abstract: | Weak Zn, Pb, Ag anomalism is associated with the basal Campbell Springs Dolomite and Au, Pb, Zn anomalism is associated with the Kunja Siltstone. Results were sufficiently encouraging for further work to be planned. Petroleum geochemistry undertaken revealed no migrated hydrocarbons. It did show that the area has poor to fair organic richness and poor to excellent source richness. Samples appeared to be on the threshold of hydrocarbon generation or within the top of the oil window. |
