Abstract: Scheelite occurs within calcsilicate rock and within rafts in the Jinka Granite. Associated minerals observed include molybdenite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopytire and wolframite. The deposit was originally discovered in 1971 and ceased production in 1982. It is stated in an annual report dated 1987 that the Molyhill Mine contains 1.8 million tonnes of open cut ore reserves at 0.6% scheelite and 0.3% molybdenite. Initial production was 80 tonnes of scheelite concentrate.
