Abstract: | The tenement was initially evaluated by RAB drilling along lines across the strike of the lithologies. Gold anomalism was associated with mafic lithologies. Ground magnetic surveys were completed to accurately depict the mafic units. An arsenic anomaly was located at the Moon and Sixpence area with assays to 340ppm, however gold was not anomalous, up to 7.9ppb Au. The area is considered to be highly weathered and gold values may have been depleted, hence it is considered to have some potential for mineralisation but at a depth of >100m. Gold anomalism to 86ppb was outlined within a sheared mafic unit at the Seven Stars Prospect. An orientation MMI Soil sampling program was completed but was not considered to be an effective sampling technique. 23 line km access 120.9 line km ground magnetic survey |
