Title: Exploration licence 3426 annual report for the period ending 02-10-1998
Title Holder / Company: Black Range Minerals
Report id: CR1998-0790
Tenure: EL3426
Year: 1998
Abstract: Stockdale assessed available aeromagnetic data and recognised 16 dipole anomalies however Stockdale withdrew from the joint venture and none of the above anomalies have been evaluated. The tenement was covered by a stream sediment sampling survey which located a coincident low level Au-Ag-As-Co-Cu-Ni-Sb-Sc-V-Zn anomaly extending for 5km along the Tom Turners Fault. The maximum gold value obtained was 8.6ppb Au. The above anomalous area was soil sampled along lines spaced at 400m with samples collected at 100m intervals. Samples were analysed by ICP-OES/MS after partial leach. A coherent AG, Cu, Cd, Zn anomaly (mean + [2 x standered deveation] ) is indicated.
