Abstract: | Detailed aeromagnetic data with 50m spacing was flown and geological interpretation made which suggest that potential lithologies of the Tanami Block exist in the south-east of the tenement. Two small soil sample grids were sampled, generally results were below detection, better results include 3 and 5 ppb Au. 46 calcrete samples were collected with an anomaly detected to 4 ppb Au. The calcrete overlies paleochannels and the validity of the results was considered questionable. The five rock chip samples taken were non anomalous. |
