Abstract: | Ground magnetic survey was completed over most of the tenement, showing a magnetic anomaly straddling the western boundary. The Mary Ann Mine does not have a magnetic signature. Twelve costeans were excavated along the Mary Ann extensions. The results of the costeaning indicate that only the trench adjacent to the western part of the Mary Ann open pit is slightly anomalous ie; 2m at 0.93g/t Au. The open pit and old pits were rock chip sampled with narrow isolated high values obtained ie 1m at 7.0 g/t Au, 1m at 4.42 g/t, 1m at 4.13 g/t Au and 3m at 3.32 g/t Au. Two percussion holes were drilled, one of which was directly below the Mary Ann open cut, results obtained were low, highest 3m at 0.18 g/t Au with associate copper anomalism. |
