Abstract: The programme, as outlined in the previous Annual Report, was carried out. At Horeshoe Reef, a 1000 x 400 m grid was established with lines at 50m intervals and stations at 25m intervals along each line. The area was mapped in detail at 1:1000 scale. Rock samples were taken across the Horseshoe Reef at approximately 25m intervals over its 500m strike length and analysed for Au and As. Additional samples were taken from any significant quartz veins or altered zones occurring in the gridded area. Throughout the remainder of the licence, detailed geological reconnaissance mapping at 1:10000 scale was completed. Areas of quartz veining and of geological interest were mapped in detail and sampled. A total of 170 rock chips were analysed for Au.
