Abstract: | This report summarises previous work on AP 2203 over the old Hatches Creek wolfram field. Costeaning and geological mapping were carried out and the Treasure Mine hanging wall was incline diamond drilled to 1040 feet. The hole intersected numerous quartz reefs with wolframite and bismithinite in metasediments and andesites down to 820 feet. Lodes range form five inches to twenty-two inches thick. Basement was not reached. Costeans at the Copper Show mine are described as are costeans south of Poseidon Hill and west of the Pioneer Group of prospects. The AP was recommended for renewal. |
