| Abstract: | These APs were granted to explore for sulphur based on the theory the present salt lakes were the collapsed crest of anticlines containing thick evaporite diapirs. A comprehensive literate study was undertaken. The area was traversed by two vehicle parties. Water sources were located and geological sections measured. Suitable drill sites were located. |
