Abstract

Interpretation of acquired aeromangetic data has generated 5 targets in the north of EL7101 (targets 5, 10, 8, 9 and 11), near the Packsaddle Microgranite. In general the aeromagnetic contours reflect lithology. Ground magnetics over target 5 suggests a sub-vertical dyke shaped body at some 80m depth and approximately 100m wide. Reconnaissance at targets 8, 9 and 11 showed no apparent surficial source, while target 10 is sourced in quartz magnetite skarn scree within contact metamorphosed Wollogorang Formation. Rock chip sampling from the vicinity of targets 5 and 10 returned 5m at 1030ppm Pb from near target 10. Samples of Wollogorang Formation east of target 5 returned 3m at 1170ppm Zn and 460ppm Cu. No elevated gold assays were returned. 7 rock chip samples from EL7102 failed to return any significant assays.
