| Abstract: | The known U deposits in the area are typically vein-hosted, associated with steeply-dipping shears or fractures trending NW-SW. Geological mapping defined 7 target areas. Drilling was designed to obtain stratigraphic information. 5 holes were drilled at Black and White grid, which established that the Seigal Volcanics/Westmoreland Conglomerate contact dips 8degrees west. Four holes were drilled on the Main Range Grid. In a number of places a visible uranium mineralisation was found. Further work is planned. |
