Year: 1997
Author: Hughes, SLM
Abstract: Work completed included 120.9+km ground magnetics (including 96 line km detailed survey over two areas), 173 RAB holes (9867m) and 55 surface orientation geochemical samples using MMI analysis over areas outlined anomalous by RAB. The drilling outlined an area of low level anomalous gold geochemistry associated with mafic bedrock intruded into a shear. This area is referred to as the Seven Stars Prospect. A maximum assay of 68ppb Au was returned. Anomalous arsenic values were obtained from an area known as the Moon and Sixpence. Gold values were depleted. At this location the weathering profile is >100m and it is believed that potential exists at depth.
